Most photographers will tell you about their love of light and their passion for people.
Those things are true for me. But they don't tell the whole story.
Mine starts with a hard season, a camera I didn't know how to use, and a lot of time spent outside alone. Nature didn't ask anything of me. It just let me be there. And somewhere in that quiet, I found something I didn't know I was looking for.
That's still what this work is, at its core. A way of paying attention. A way of finding the thread that connects us to a place, to each other, to a moment worth holding onto.
I make images that are meant to live with you — on your walls, in your hands, in the spaces where your life actually happens.
Finding the thread
Since 2018 I've photographed just about everything, learning along the way what I loved and what I didn't. What stayed constant was the pull toward work that actually meant something.
The clearest version of this work isn't a strategy. It's a calling. It's getting up before sunrise to catch light on water. It's watching a family stop performing and just be together. It's helping a business owner finally feel seen in their own brand. It's creating something that lives on a wall for decades.
That's the life I'm building. Peace and purpose, doing work that connects.

A little more about me
I am a member of the Professional Photographers of America and the Women's Business Network, and I have been published in Shutter Up Magazine. I also coach photographers inside the Flourish Academy's Elevate Program, helping them find clarity in their work and build businesses that feel sustainable.
Outside of all of it, my family and I are serious about having fun together. Board games, murder mystery parties, travel — we show up for all of it, and we are exactly as competitive as that sounds.
